Thanks to all the wonderful muscians, to El Mundo - All brand name, and Matthew Higgs, and White Columns.

music files will be coming soon.

Partial history of the place:

1914
In 1914 the structure was modified for MOTION PICTURE SHOWS, meaning it must have been also already some structure for performances before 1914, since they spoke about

1926 / 1927
It was listed first in the FILM DAILY YEAR BOOK of 1926 as the EAGLE THEATER - the eagle is still hanging in there. (600 places)
in 1927 it became the NEW EAGLE THEATER wiht 1800 seats. - since then it is listed as built in 1926.

before that I was already some kind of theater - may be a so- calle storefront theater or a nickel odeon (entry one nickle, 5 cent)

1981
in 1981 it became a meat market

1992
in 1992 I found a building code violation of the building from the funny company with the name:
HUNGRY JADRO WAREHOUSE

1997
Since 1997 and it was what it always was: a massed up discout store I bought toilet paper, cleaning material and many practical items of cheap value.

current owner is there for over 10 years. the next club owner (I made an interview with the curernt owner) is paying 25 000 dollar rent a month. I cannot understand how they wanna make that money - this is teh amount he told me on video.

more about the place -

s

The buildling, when it was still the EAGLE THEATER early 1980s - as found in NYC tax files - there it is listed as built in 1926.
