Peter Fend, China, Eco-flag, April 2009 The drawing goes out in a few minutes. It is a reasonably accurate rendition of the Inland Basins of China, including most of Tibet (but not Lhasa) South China Sea Basin, but not the Mekong River (a tiny strip which drains into "South" Vietnam) (China gets the Red River in what was "North" Vietnam) East China and Yellow Sea Basin, but not "South" Korea; Korea Bay and Bo Hai, with Yellow River and most of "North" Korea Amur River Basin, including coast on Sea of Japan. The shapes can be negotiated politically. However, they are reliable ecologically. Most important, they make most of Tibet part of the main "star."
