Chelsea ART FAIR FOCUS, WITH THE OPENING GALLERY, New York 2025 -- the one person show I hads last year 2024 in Tribecca

 art in time of "executtive oders" trying to be above the law - below the radar  - thanks May 19th 2025.

The works below are not meant to be arrogant or STUPORISIZE the visitor or the beholder but rather comment on my own life - my own difficultires to hand x-thousand images I take nearly everyday to work or to function. We (and sorry I ) am overwhelmed with information overload and then we forget what is essential. Friends, Truth, Justice, and a constant process to imporove ourselves. Due to the overload of archival material we all collect, we miss the point: to be together, to be alive, to not get f.... d over by scams, by promioses that never kept, by aps that sell us anything and by the fact that current politics drives into economics in such a brutal way, that the current leader of the USA suggests that money needs to be saved from those how need it the most to save taxes for the uber-rich. Unfortunately, the last election of Donald Trump has used racism, anti-semitism, sexism, and chauvinisim, anti-asian-sm xenophobia in general *( i am also an immigrant) as a key tool to intimidate and to come up with laws to "save money" that are simply not necessary and have driven us into an economic hard situation using FEAR, ANTI-SEMITISM, ANTI_ISLAMOPHOBIA, ANTI-FFREEDOM OF SPEECH and finally CHAUVINSIM in such a dramatic way that we are all hurt, that we are all scared of each other, that we are all isolated and fear anything could be used against us.

I am very happy that OPENING GALLERYgave me this chance to effectuate here my "PLEASE, TEACH ME CHIINESE" performance and thus interact with the public through various FASHION AS ART commedesmarxists outfits that playfully let me interact with the public. This art fair took place in Chelse and hence profited from the richest people in the world who live in the vicinity. The Fair Itself is a new start up ... and has Asian American *mostly Korean sponsors and exhibitors - hence, it was not directly competing with FRIEZE and the INDEPENDENT directly but wishes to do so. Hence, the fair came a week after the big fair and I didn"t noticed it advertized in big ways. It was rather like the idea of COMMEDESMARXISTS self-contained, on survivor modus, and the the majority of exhibitors were aritsts.

I am so so happy that THE OPENING GALLERY had such a prominent booth, A1, and i was able to basically greet the people and surprise them. I am very thankful to the founder and art historian who constantly underlines that fact that she is not an art delar ---- * i contradict her .... because her commet is raising and I am proud to be part of it. Also we know each other for so long and inform each other about life without blue chiip income when nobody is risking anything anymore. I have noticed on Frieze, or ART BASEL the enormous PR activites that go on and hence partially MIMIK their very expensive campaigns. Also FOCUS had many smaller venues that were commerical start ups. The topic was digital life and hence, I decided to reflect in my way this conditons.

I am mostly self-taught when it comes to FOREIGN lLANGUAGE LEARNING. I have represented Austria in the Venice Biennial in 1999 and addresses the politics of LANGUAGES in telatisonship to the economic and global politcal power of nation - national languages - and military hegemony. Needless to say, the question for me is to what degree is DEMOCRACY AND TRANSPARENCY IMPORTANT ? I AM ON THE DEMOCRATIC SIDE and basically pretended to use dark humor and slap stick technics to "cutify" or self-inferiorate myself to make a point. The charm of that fair was that it s as if

image this vertical assembly to be a narrative - and the rest of the rather NON PRECISION WORK my way, the artist's way to breath .... I am not condemming anybody who works like me day in and day out on a screen and in isolation ... relatively speaking ... simply waiting and observing time. TIME AND CONVERSATIONS ARE FOR ME CULTURAL CAPITAL that I try to capture and "steal from the beholder. Hence.by introducing a foreign langauge, i hope i made cleasr that I am for a global world that is open and works collectively to share it's recsources. Needless to say, as an artist and in my position I have a feeling I have landed too many times on some glue pat and hence., let me apply the word stupor also to me...

Hence, having seen too many ups and busts in my life, economics, personal and political ones .... I sp enjoyed to participate in a super high, super gentrified area that make you really wonder, was Hegel on Haiti right, or was Kant on peace wrong but my time keeps refering me over and over to the very beginnings. Hence, thanks for reading this, thanks the amazing gallerist Soziete Gouduna and her Gallery that is currently operating like an INTERVENTIONIST.

Thanks to all the people who posed for me and who engaged with me and played with the complicaed outfits I was tailoring during a time people usually sleep. I recycle ideas, memories, conversations and live as much as I can in the future interwoven wiht the past that my presenece is keeping me skinny and active so that the absence of barely the money needed to pay for my shelter is hidden behind the GALGEN HUMORE I not only performed. Covid is still somehow in the pipelines albeit of the fact that I'd love to be seen in the traditon of my teachers and needless to say the situationists.

I cannot totally hide the fact that many visitior didn't know who Gerhard Richter or Nam June Paik was (the later gave me my master in fine art from the art academy Duesseldorf where my friends dragged me quite a bit along to the critical verdicts of Richter, who acted rather like a greek emperor with finger up or down (he simply stood there and said notrhing and walked away) without really much comments - I adored and disliked the fear that he emanated and understood already then that authority can be overwhelming but should never break you... unfortunately, I have seen people who got stuck there in the mud of higher beings and hence... moved on the way I have always moved on - with or without monitary success.

Money and dead cat bounced is about as photorealisitc as it gets. And yet, there is always more to be said, or nothing to be understood. The art of plently is in my case the noise that re-iterates the difference between aporia and surviving. But the most and unrenumerable success of this show was that I have walked away with so much humanity that was shared and be it only as if a boy who got lost on a central railway station staring at people he simply can"t understand albeit of the fact that we all survived covid and will make it throught htis current economic crisis. Interesting enough, working wiht COMMEDESMARXISTS = HENCE FASHION AS FINE ART - allows me to learn, the play with our fetishistic desires to please, and the fact that very few of us can really understand that HAUT COUTURE is what I make but without anyboy taking me seriously. Thus I am happy that have only the camera and social meida on my side. Luck had it, that when I handed a professional camera with a good old Leica lense to a good old friend - no mentioning of the name - the tale bounced from the floor and thing camera bounved on concrete like a piece of pizza.

Pizza gate keeping was my way to lose weight - I starved myself by getting exited with each interaction. I do categoricallhy not distinguish between all the myriads of ways of being. I so respect each person's appearance and was amazed how we are all struggeling... being poor or rich, old or young, babies or dogs, and cats. I enjoyed the little food fights we had and the little picutres fight that is always a realithy. But all people how allowed me to be on picutres are here thanked in a way that gives me more ideas... I consider the ananomous format the most democratic format and yet - I have to be so careful with images as I do not desire to give anybody the impression that my ludic characgter is antagonzing or provocative.

THE PRESENT AND THE PAST AND THE FUTURE IS OWNED BY EVERYBODY.

my materials are elite and 'recycled' for a sustainable life wihtout waste but also without the dictatorship of austarity ... so soavings costs more lives and cresate more victims of wars... last but the least ... the global wars and potential antagnistm between super and micropowers is really drugging on the short temperdness of people and i find it sad to overserve stress in the lives of poeple including my own. i have to stop myself and not write forever.

COMMEDESMARXISTS was next to SOTHEBY's the most rounded (karl marx-ed) up CASSANDRA SYMBOL at the fair because the pie was given to me by this amazing generous gentilman who landed a job in a top firm and promised me not forget me.. but I congratulate him for being part of MY PEACE ACTVISM which was not meant to make money but to guarantee our SURVIVAL.. because only the week earlier.... TWO NUCLEAR POWERS WERE THROWING BOMBS AT EACH OTHER... PAKISTAN AND INDIA... which is nothing fun.. but the HENCE.
